Almost time...

I get so much pleasure out of taking pictures of expectant mothers and fathers. It is a remarkable time that goes so fast and can be forgotten so easily. I hope what I do allows them to hold onto at least a tiny piece of it forever.

Aurora and Ernesto are so excited about the arrival of their little girl. And so am I!

Can you stand it?

Because I can't! Would you just look at that teeny-tiny baby tushy?! I know, I know, I am constantly posting pictures of naked babies. But how can I help it when they look as scrumptious as this?!

I haven't seen Samantha since she was just brand new. Now she has done this whole baby thing for a year and she is OWNING it! She was full of spunk and laughs. I love seeing my babies grow (yes, they are mine, too. Sorry Kirsten and Paul, but I steak a little bit of a claim to her ;-).

Old friends

I took this picture more than three years ago. It is still one of my very favorites to this day. And I still remember everything about that session. Baby Shep was probably my most cooperative newborn to date.

He's not a baby anymore! He's an acrobat!

A new friend

I got to meet Owen last week. I don't need to tell you how adorable he is because these pictures speak for themselves. Just look at that face! It was chilly but we still managed to have a good time!


"What? Haven't you seen an adorably nekkid guy playing with his blocks before? Sheesh."

Why do these beautiful children have to go and make me feel so old all the time? It CAN'T be more than two years since this first session. And yet.....ugh, it has been. They become so much more beautiful with each passing day, but why do those darn days have to be passing so quickly?!

This was Kate when she was just a little wisp of a peanut.

And now....she is a loving and spunky big sister speaking Portuguese a mile a minute that I, of course, had no hope of understanding.


Baby sister Giulia is the spitting image. And her parents had better get ready now if she's equally as feisty!

Did you miss me?

I thought it had been over a year since I posted to my blog, but it's only been 10 1/2 months. Look at me go! I could say I promise to be better, but, well, that might end up being a lie. So we'll just take baby steps and start with this; Baby Desmond! Isn't he scrumptiously beautiful?! I visited my good friend Allie yesterday and I love what we got of her beautiful family.

Baby D was here 9 months and 2 days ago.

And now look at this big boy!


Can we all please take a moment to appreciate this FANTASTIC thighs?! I wanted to take a bite out of them!


And Baby D obviously comes by that beauty naturally, just look at this stunning brood!
