a new sister

I photographed this little angel's big sister back in June. You can see some fun from that session here. Watching families grow right before my eyes is definitely one of the absolute best parts of my job.

Her baby sister is just a little bundle of peanutty goodness. And as you can see, completely in love with her Mama.

one month, one day

Yesterday I got to meet beautiful baby Aidan. Poor baby was not feeling well, but he was such a good boy even with a yucky cold.

Look at that strong neck!

and baby makes six

This little angel joins a fantastically beautiful brood. She has one big brother and two big sisters who cannot get enough of her little-sister-ness. Even her 18 month old sister wanted nothing more than to give her adorably sweet hugs.

Get on your running shoes Mom and Dad. Keeping up with all of these feet is going to be a full-time job with major over-time!

paige; 5 weeks

I had the pleasure of meeting beautiful Miss Paige today. She was such a good baby. She let me hold her and put her to sleep. I love getting my baby fix!

i can't help it

I love pregnant bellies. Love them, love them, love them. I really can't think of anything more beautiful than a pregnant woman (although I know said pregnant woman usually isn't feeling so beautiful). Pregnancy is one of the pure things left in the world. Our society hasn't been able to speed it up, or carry it in a backpack, or any other change that might seem more "convenient". It's amazing and beautiful and it never gets old to me no matter how many times I photograph it.

My most recent beautiful Mama.....(psst...that's my little baby cousin in that belly!)

finally!

This has been on my "to do" list for....well, way too long. But I'm DONE! I've redone all of my galleries with sessions from all of 2007. It was so hard. And not because of the work involved with revamping everything, sizing, etc. But the choosing, OH the choosing. I agonized over cutting out so many favorites. It took me forever to make all of my choices and there are still too many in each gallery. But the best part about my website is that it's MY website ;-). And I get to decide. So for my sanity, I decided to fill it to the brim with as many of my favorites as it would hold.

So please, go take a look. Don't let all my hard work go to waste!

Bath Time!

In thinking of the year ahead, one can't help but look back on the year gone past. Two Thousand Seven was a wonderful year for me. I learned a lot. I accomplished a lot. My children are healthy and growing as beautifully as can be.

In looking at my work over the past year, I thought I'd share some of my favorite bath time images. I love doing bath pictures. I think it's one of those things that speaks to a child's innocence. It's something you can't take pictures of forever. You can put your child on a swing at 2 and 10 and 16. But you can't exactly plop them in a tub filled with bubbles and start taking pictures at any old age. It's short-lived, just like their babyhood.

These are some of my favorites from 2007.
